How big is big? 1000? 100,000,000? How about a number you can't wrap your mind around?
Let's put it in terms of money. Now most of us aren't running around spending $1000 a day so $1000 is a lot, but not a huge amount. You can picture $1000, but where does that become something intangible? How about in "I'll give you a million dollars if...", do you really know how much a million is?
Let's see if we can make it realistic.
You work 5hrs every weekday at a rate of $9 per hour. How long before you get a million? (If you don't lose money due to taxes)
5x5= 25hr/week
25x9=$225/week
1,000,000/225=4444.45weeks
4444.45/52= 85.47 years
sound fun? When you're 101 and you've living with your parents you entire life you can have a million dollars.
lets try again. $16/hr 5 days a week.8hrs a day. (You quit school)
8x5=40hr/week
40x16= $640/week
1,000,000/640= 1562weeks
1562/52=30.05 years
Wow, now you can move out of your parents house at age 46. (So proud)
But how much a million?
So 3 houses sound the most tangible.. one for you, your parents (cause if don't give them one, they will complain for years) and for you kids (cause they'll be around FOREVER, you just can't rid of them).

But how much a million?
- 10,000 $100 bills
- 3 houses (each house about $300,000)
- 33 cars (at $30,000 each)
- 28 years of college (tuition and textbooks--> $34800)
So 3 houses sound the most tangible.. one for you, your parents (cause if don't give them one, they will complain for years) and for you kids (cause they'll be around FOREVER, you just can't rid of them).
